HAPPY 21ST SHIRLEY! (:

We miss you very much! And I've heard about your distinction in cost accounting! You smartie! Ah Poh would be very proud of you. (: Continue to mug very hard in UNSW and come back with your 1st class honours. (:

The childcare downstairs is celebrating national day today. And the kids are singing the national day songs. Out of tune but cute. My favourite song is definitely " Home" by Kit Chan.

This is home truely, where i know i must be. Where my dreams wait for me, where the river always flow...

Whats your favourite national day song?

I shall skip the first day and post the pictures of the 2nd day-Disneyland because i have not uploaded the pictures from the 1st day at Universal Studios.

Disneyland-Where dreams come true
We visited the one in Anaheim, California. I love Disneyland! I felt like a kid, squealing when i see the characters and enjoying every single rides and games. Its such a happy place-colourful and full of happy vibes. I think this is the best Disneyland. (:

Outside California Theme Park
It  is just right beside Disneyland. This theme park is the largest i heard and it has the scariest rides. :X See that red thingy behind? Its a ride!

Pretty Castle where Prince Charming stays and the gorgeous Carousel which he and Cinderella rides.

The Parade

Of myself in Disneyland :D

And of course, a must have shot with Mickey!

Just finished eating up the dry meepok with wantons and ribeye cubes. Fusion eating ya. hah Yums!

Yesterday, we went to the Great Mall to shop. Its like HUGE. The mall is filled with outlet stores, so most of the clothes are like 1/5 of its original price. There are the usual shops, H&M, F21, AE, Aeropostale, AF, Old Navy, Guess, CK, Bebe, Victoria secret and lots more. It took us 1 whole day to finish the whole mall. And yes, we bought alot. Cos its CHEAP! (:

Von: I saw the bebe coat that you bought in the store. Its on sale. I think only 49usd!

My only complaint was that the actual stores are too big and messy. So sometimes, its really easier to shop online, although, the price in the store is cheaper.

I think i bought myself enough clothes to last me 2years at least. No more shopping back in Singapore. Its stupid to shop in Singapore cos everything is overpriced and fugly and the sales arent even decent.

Going back next friday. :( Can i stay here, mum?

Hello friends! (:

I am having the time of my life here in California and I dont want to go back to Singapore. Maybe i'll give my parents a call and tell them to pack me all my clothes n bags. I love it here! The shopping is wonderful-though the shops are too big and too messy- and the environment is urbanised yet laid back. Today, we cooked mee pok and wanton soup. It was heavenly! How i miss the bak chor mee and kway teow soup- i must admit though, i hate the food here. Its fried, oily and salty.

Just now in the morning, we took an 1hr drive to farms for cherries, peaches and nectarine picking! Its so fun climbing the cherry trees! After our lunch, we went Forest Park School's field for a walk and everyone in the neighbourhood is either Asian or Indians. Silicon Valley is full of smart people. I think its somehow intimidating to be around them. Oh wells.

Tomorrow we might be going to another outlet mall for cheap clothings. I think i wont ever want to shop in Singapore again after shopping in the outlet stores. You know a FCUK tee is only like 17USD after discount when you have to pay S$49 in Singapore? Yesterday i picked up quite many good buys. Like a Charlotte Russ's shorts for only 5USD and a hollister tee for 10USD. Shiokadolicious. (:

Its getting really late here and i'm tired. Off to bed! Shall update again! (:

Hello again! Its 6am over here at California now. Woke up so early because we have to set off to Yosmite and later San Francisco. Its going to be a long bus ride again. Maybe like 6-7 hours. Travelling on the bus is the only thing i hate so far. Because there are nothing to see except barren land and even more land. And maybe sometimes out of no where, you can see a little store selling antiques, food supply and really everything that you can imagine.

Speaking of SFO, we are going to Union Square for shopping tomorrow. I heard that theres a 3 storey Forever 21 store over there. Been to one Forever 21 and everything is really cheap! Its the cheapest that we have seen so far and the best thing is, everything is in size and plenty of new stocks. :)  Abercrombie and American Eagles are actually quite expensive.

Okay have to go off now. Goodbye girls. And incase i couldnt get online in time, HAVE A GREAT TIME AT UR BIRTHDAY PARTY YUWEI!! (:

XOXO, zl

HELLO FRIENDS! I'm blogging from Fresno, California. We have just travelled for 6hours from Las Vegas to this small quaint little town for stopover. The wind is blowing like crazy and its freezing cold over here. Earlier on, there was a sandstorm at Barstow and it was so hard trying to walk against the wind.

So far, i've been to LA, Las Vegas. I love LA. The weather was wonderful and the people are much friendlier than those in Las Vegas. Vegas air was so horrible and the weather is blazing hot. I'm terribly burnt now. :( Vegas is a really atas place. The hotels are grand and there are like performances to watch every single night. We enjoyed the shows very much. Not forgetting to mention pimps giving out call girls card everywhere on the street. Well, those pictures of the girls must have been heavily photoshopped. :)

And i've sat on all the scary rides. Each time i went on one, i would go like "WHY AM I GETTING MYSELF INTO THIS SHIT! AHHHH, ITS GOING UP AND NOW DOWNNNN! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Oh and yesterday, we went to grand canyon, west rimm. I took a helicopter ride and we flew across the whole west rimm. It was horrifying! But really the scenery is magnificent! Mountains everywhere! Not bukit timah hill mind you! (:

The shopping was great! Shopped like crazy for the past few days. In Gap, Charlotte Russ, Hollister, Aeropostale, Kenneth Cole, Kate Spade and of course, Coach.  So far, i've managed not bursting my luggage. But soon i might. Oops.

Ok, here are some pictures to share. I do have alot more. Will blog again later. I am going out to explore this small county.
